Form 1040 View
View tax scenarios in authentic IRS Form 1040 format with official form styling for client presentations and tax planning review.
What It Shows
Form 1040 View is a read-only presentation layer for a selected Tax Center scenario. It helps advisors explain how income, deductions, credits, payments, Social Security, capital gains, AMT, and other tax items map to familiar tax-return lines.
Supported Detail Views
The Tax Center includes line-reference detail for core Form 1040 income, Schedule A itemized deductions, Schedule B interest and dividends, Schedule D capital gains/losses, Form 6251 AMT logic, Social Security taxation, payments, credits, and refund/balance-due calculations where data is available.
Editing Source Data
Use the Tax Line Item Editor, Schedule A details, Schedule D details, imported tax-return data, or scenario inputs to change tax data. Form-style views should be used for review and explanation rather than direct editing.
Scenario Review
Switch scenarios to compare current, proposed, Roth conversion, or other tax plans. Confirm tax year, filing status, state, deductions, credits, withholding, and data source before presenting a scenario to a client.
Cash Flow Integration
Tax Center scenarios can also anchor cash-flow tax rows for a specific tax year so Financial Future projections use actual Tax Center values for that year while later years continue using modeled taxes.
