Manual Accounts
Track assets, liabilities, and planning details that should not rely on a live feed.
When to Use Manual Accounts
Use manual accounts for real estate, vehicles, business interests, private investments, collectibles, notes, manually tracked brokerage values, annuities, insurance cash value, loans from individuals, and any asset or liability that should be advisor-maintained.
Account Types
Manual records can represent cash, real estate, vehicles, businesses, alternatives, crypto, collectibles, retirement accounts, taxable accounts, life insurance, annuities, mortgages, credit cards, loans, and other custom assets or liabilities.
Ownership and Estate Fields
Manual accounts can carry owner percentages, entity or trust ownership, beneficiary designations, tax treatment, liquidity classification, estate inclusion, and notes. These fields affect Owner View, Estate, liquidity, and taxable-estate summaries.
Insurance and Annuities
Life insurance, IUL, annuity, and policy-related values can be tracked so they appear in net worth, estate, and insurance workflows. Review whether values are current cash value, death benefit, remaining benefit pool, or another policy-specific amount.
Document and AI Assistance
When a statement or balance sheet is available, document import or Net Worth AI Chat can create draft accounts. Advisors should still verify owner, value, category, tax treatment, and visibility.
