Interactive Brokers Custodial Integration
Enable an IBKR IBRIT direct feed, register its confirmed prefix, and map incoming accounts.
Request the IBRIT Feed
Email reportingintegration@interactivebrokers.com and copy hello@findash.ai. Ask IBKR to enable the FinDash IBRIT direct feed with Account, Activity, Position, Security, CashReport, PL, and NAV files.
Wait for the Confirmed Prefix
IBKR must confirm the account-number prefix or custom prefix for the active feed. Do not guess the value or register a general firm identifier; FinDash uses the confirmed prefix to route the incoming feed.
Register and Process
An authorized custodian manager opens Firm Settings → Custodian Integrations → Interactive Brokers, enters the IBKR-confirmed feed prefix, and selects Register Confirmed Prefix. After the connection is active, Process Files handles available delivery files.
Map Accounts
Review all, mapped, and unmapped accounts, search by account context, and link each IBKR account to the correct FinDash client. Unlink only when the account was associated with the wrong client.
Data and Permissions
The IBRIT feed supports account mapping, holdings, tax lots, and activity. Only the firm owner or Custodian Admin can register prefixes, process files, map, or unlink accounts; other permitted users can review connection and account status.
Step by step
- Request IBRIT: Email IBKR reporting integration and copy hello@findash.ai with the requested file set.
- Confirm the Prefix: Wait until IBKR identifies the active account or custom feed prefix.
- Register Confirmed Prefix: Enter the exact prefix in the Interactive Brokers custodian section.
- Process and Map: Process available files, then map each account to the intended client.
