Betterment Custodial Integration
Enable Betterment Advisor Solutions data delivery and map accounts to FinDash clients.
Enable Betterment
In the Betterment advisor dashboard, go to Settings → Integrations, select FinDash, and choose Connect to FinDash. After Betterment confirms the integration, email hello@findash.ai so the FinDash side can be finalized. Initial data is expected within one business day after enablement.
Review the Feed
Open Firm Settings → Custodian Integrations and expand Betterment. Use Sync Now when an authorized manager needs to process available data, then review total, mapped, suggested, and unmapped accounts.
Use Suggested Matches
Suggested matches are review aids. Confirm the intended client before accepting one, or use Map All Suggested only after reviewing the batch. A manager can map, remap, or bulk-map selected accounts when several Betterment accounts belong to one household.
Create Clients When Needed
Use Create Client only when the Betterment account belongs to a person who does not already have the correct FinDash client record. Creating the client also maps the account, so search the firm first to avoid duplicates.
Permissions
Only the firm owner or Custodian Admin can sync, accept suggestions, map, remap, create, or unmap Betterment accounts. Other users with access can review status without changing the connection.
