Estate Overview
Review estate exposure using account ownership, beneficiaries, insurance, documents, and estate-tax assumptions.
Estate Data Sources
Estate views use Net Worth accounts, manual assets and liabilities, ownership assignments, beneficiary designations, life insurance ownership, document data, and estate-tax settings. Accuracy depends on those source fields being reviewed.
Taxable Estate and Liquidity
Net Worth breaks assets into taxable-estate, outside-estate, liquid, and illiquid categories where supported. Life insurance owned by the insured is generally included, while ILIT or certain trust-owned policies may be excluded when the ownership fields support that treatment.
Estate Tax Assumptions
Estate tax estimates use the assumptions configured for the household, including federal exemption basis and state settings where available. Married portability assumptions should be reviewed carefully because portability generally requires a timely Form 706 election.
Flowchart and Summary
Use the estate flowchart and summaries to explain ownership, beneficiaries, trusts, insurance, and distribution logic. Treat imported or AI-extracted information as draft until the advisor confirms it against legal documents.
