Voice Agent
Talk to your financial data with FinDash Voice Agent. Create tasks, look up client information, and manage cash flow using natural voice commands.
Availability
Voice Agent is available when the firm AI policy allows xAI/Grok-backed voice features and the user has the right account access. Firm staff can voice-act on a client only when their firm role, assignment, and shared-access permissions allow that level of access.
How It Works
The voice connection uses the FinDash voice backend at /api/voice with real-time WebSocket streaming and tool calling. The supported voice options are Ara, Rex, Sal, Eve, and Leo.
What You Can Ask
Voice can retrieve financial summaries, account lists, profile details, forward-looking cash-flow plans, historical spending, tasks, notes, documents, holdings, insurance, estate, tax, and CRM context when the user has permission to see that data.
Actions It Can Take
Supported write actions include creating tasks, updating client tasks, adding cash-flow items, creating scenarios, creating goals, updating manual accounts, adding notes, and creating contacts where the user has permission. Voice cannot update Plaid-linked account balances directly.
Document Access
Voice document access is restricted to allowlisted Firebase Storage buckets and safe user-specific prefixes. If a document cannot be accessed, check that it is in the client Vault or a supported storage path and that the user has access.
Review Before Relying
Voice is optimized for fast service work. Review created tasks, cash-flow items, contacts, notes, and account changes before treating them as final client-facing records.
