AI Form Builder
Convert PDF surveys and questionnaires into editable FinDash forms.
What is the AI Form Builder?
The AI Form Builder helps advisors turn an intake PDF, risk questionnaire, compliance form, or survey-style document into an editable FinDash form. The generated form can be reviewed, customized, assigned to clients, embedded on a public firm page, or used inside workflows.
How It Works
Upload a PDF or start from a form template. AI identifies questions, field types, answer options, labels, and structure, then creates a draft form. Advisors should review the draft before assigning it because PDFs often contain firm-specific instructions, disclosures, or wording that need cleanup.
Supported Document Types
Good candidates include risk tolerance questionnaires, client intake forms, data gathering worksheets, compliance questionnaires, profile updates, surveys, and other structured PDFs with clear questions and answer areas.
Edit After Generation
Generated forms use the same editor as manually created forms. You can add or remove questions, reorder content, configure required fields, set conditional logic, enable scoring, customize branding, preview the client experience, and review submissions.
Assignment and Sharing
Forms can be assigned directly to clients, included in workflow steps, copied as public links when access policy allows it, exported, duplicated, renamed, and linked from firm landing pages.
Step by step
- Open Forms: Go to the Forms workspace from the advisor navigation.
- Create or Import: Create a blank form, choose a template, or use the PDF import/AI build flow when starting from a document.
- Review Questions: Check every generated question, answer option, required setting, and field type.
- Configure Logic: Add conditional logic, scoring, redirects, signatures, uploads, account-linking steps, or payment request questions as needed.
- Customize: Adjust the form name, description, theme, logo, fonts, confirmation message, and access policy.
- Preview: Use preview before sending the form so spacing, validation, branching, and client-facing wording are correct.
- Assign or Share: Assign the form to a client, add it to a workflow, copy the public link when allowed, or link it from a firm landing page.
